Scattered lights，
one pub， and one garage.
Driving through
in the woodsmoke dusk.
A culvert
at the town limits；
the road goes on， straight，
fading， The flat
grey heath
disappearing close， on either side.
This blustery wind
brings rain-just
short hairs
on a barber"s sheet，
marking the windscreen.

木柴烟雾的黄昏。
暗渠一道
流在市镇边；
大路笔直向前伸
变淡变暗。单调的
灰色石南丛
秘密地从路两旁消失。
狂暴的风
挟来雨——正像
理发围巾上的
短头发，
给挡风玻璃留下了痕迹。
