Journey to the West
October 8，2003
For 6，000 li on Go beidesert，ourjourney is done in a blazing sun，
On boundless yellow soil far and near，it is no rain year around；
Seeing the yellow-leaved poplar trees on our way，
I find the still bustling about are those photographic fans，
And they take photos from morning to dawn；
In vast expanse of frontier area，travellers are coming in swarms；
By ascending atop of the Hishui Town，
I pondered about where those ancient men had gone？
On the battlefields ages ago，littering about is bones of the dead；
Then comes to my eyes is Launcher Tower of Aerospace Town，
Like the Lady in the Moon，
It stands lofty and greets us guests coming from afar，
Going up of the aerospace，how elated and proud we feel！
On perilous roads at the Impregnable Pass of Jiayin'guan，
The only sound I hear is the going away of camels'gong；
For how many times our braved ones have covered this land？
And since ever the heroic deeds highly praised；
In the Huguo Temple in Liangzhou，a stone stele erects high，
And the local say it was set by the then Yuanhao Wang；
At the shore of the Yuey a Lake，I see the mountain opposite inside，
But within dwarf grasses is moving about of a shadow sun；
My spirit has gone over the prominent scene oft he Nanshan Peak，
Inside I go and pray for Goddessin the Grottoes of Donghuang.
山西平遥古城

晋地曾经两世强，
中原逐鹿商贾忙。①
古城尚存人去也，
富贵空留砖雕墙。
汾河流长一千里，
难诉太行风雨苍。
却看万年吕梁下，
乌金飞出火凤凰。
注：①中原逐鹿：春秋战国时期的晋国（今山西省为其中心）曾强盛一时。清朝时期，晋商也曾经声名远播。
Old Town of Pingyao，Shanxi

The land of Jin was once so powerful，
It fought for the throne，with merchants bustling about.
Now the people abandoned the town，
But nevertheless its honour and splendours，
Are clearly reflected in city's beautifully carved walls.
Through the region，there flows a 1000 li of the River Fen，
But the big changes made are still difficult to recount；
Seeing the 10，000-year-old of the Mount Lvliang，
I viewed the high fly of the Phoenix fire underground.
The Huanghe Lou
October 3，2004
The great master of poets once made extols to the Huanghe Lou，
ButI find among the poem with Mighty Pen was CuiH ao.
Famous Poet Li Bai also made in ion to the Huanghe Lou，
But only say that the great river Flowing into horizon afar；
Those red columns and flying eaves were again done in 1995，
How long does it exist the lonely shadow and blue waves rising？
In the vast land of the Chu，
Around me is just warm climate but white cloud，
Down in the river I see，are rising heads of tortoise and snakes，
They all fix their eyes and carefully watch high flying canoes.
黄鹤楼

名家诗题黄鹤楼，
唯尊崔颢笔锋秀。
李白曾经挽神臂，
只道长江天际流。
红柱飞檐九五起，
独影碧落几度秋？
楚天苍茫白云暖，
龟蛇翘首看飞舟。
Gutian
October 12，2004
At long last，I arrived at Gutian，
Place where our magical soldiers took battle decades ago.
With accompanying of glimmering stars，they forged ahead，
Also are those burning torches in their hands；
Fearlessly，they won perilous crags and untamed rivers，
Also I could hear are loud songs of triumph，
That is a vigorous battle our brave heroes are waging by.
Like fleeting clouds，how fast is the 75 years passing by！
Now still continuing is the great causes we keep on，
With the coming of spring spell，
Turning fresh is hundreds of flowers；
Like a huge dragon，flying high is still our Chinese Nation，
And now our great cause covers the land
Reaching as far as the treasure-hidden island of Taiwan！
古田

久蓄心意上古田，
神师往昔，
长夜火炬燃。
险山恶水皆等闲，
红军高歌战益酣。
七十五年事如烟，
业承今日，
春风百花鲜。
巨龙腾霭应无远，
舆图直铺宝岛湾。

九檐神笔思王勃。
楼以华章甲天下，
文因名楼千古歌。
The Tengwang'ge Pavilion

Along the GanshuiR iver，the Yunlou pavilion stands still，
Seeing the beautiful characters on fine designed eaves，
I could not help thinking about the Poet of Wang Bo
Owing to its super design，the pavilion is still well known，
But as famous of the pavilion itself，
The lines still show the splendid history it had enjoyed.
武夷山神韵

一石一座山，
一山游半天。
水复绕山腰，
清潭十八湾。
Visiting the Wuyi Mountain

In Wuyishan，I found one rock constitutes one mountain，
But one mountain takes you half a day to visit.
With a creek surrounding half way up of the mountain，
It winds all its way down the mountain，pure and clean.
浪淘沙·华山险

华山道行难，绝壁极天。
苍峦连翠险径悬。
扶累危栏心自静，西望长安。
临顶淡云寒，处处人烟。
光阴似水不复还。
这山游罢那岭峭，还要登攀？
The Precipitous Hua Mountain
April 16th，2005
The road around the Hua Mountain is so difficult to tread，
There the steep cliff almost reaches the sky，
And along green mountains extend the arduous ghat.
I support myself with the railings，
Looking far westward at the City of Chang'an；
At the mountain top clouds gather，
With visitors scattering around；
How time runs away like tide，never returns！
One mountain is under my feet，
Another one is still there，
Go ahead，and let us conquer it！
