The bonfire had gone out. They all knew Narnia well nough to work out where he must be standing. He must e on the high moorlands that stretch away to the north eyond the River Shribble.
Then Jill and Eustace remembered how once long ago, in he deep caves beneath those moors, they had seen a great iant asleep and been told that his name was Father Time, nd that he would wake on the day the world ended.
