Once upon a time, a person saw a wild goose fly in the sky, and prepared to shoot it down with an arrow. He said, “I will boil the wild goose after shooting it down.” His brother disagreed him, “It’s suitable to boil the wild goose, but it’s best to roast it.” Both brothers kept arguing and refused to yield to each other, so they went to She Bo for arbitration. She Bo provided them with a compromise: Cut the wild goose in two halves, and one half was boiled, and the other half was roasted. The brothers thought this was a good idea. However, when they returned to look for the wild goose, it had disappeared.
