There lived a large number of tigers in Zhong County, Wan County and Yunyang County of Sichuan Province in the ancient time.
One day, a woman was doing some washing while her two children played on the beach.
A spotted tiger suddenly ran down from the mountain, and the woman jumped into the water in a hurry to avoid the tiger. However, the children still played on the beach, and were not afraid at all. Finding this strange, the tiger ran toward the children, stared at them for a long time, and even bumped them with his head, hoping the children would fear him. However, the children were not afraid at all and patted the head of the tiger and held its ears. The tiger smiled and finally left.
Before eating a human, the tiger will surely exert its power first, but this won’t work in face of the human who doesn’t fear him.
